Short version. The game itself collects nothing about you. It shows ads, and the advertising service behind them collects device information in order to do that. If — and only if — you choose to use the leaderboard, your score is sent to Google Play Games. Nothing else leaves your phone.
The game saves your progress — high scores, coins, unlocked hooks and abilities — and your settings, such as sound volume, vibration, language and daylight mode. All of it is stored only on your device, using Android's standard local storage. None of it ever leaves your phone, and we cannot see it.
You do not need an account to play. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location. The only sign-in in the game is the optional one described under Leaderboards, below.
The game has global leaderboards, run by Google Play Games Services. They are optional: if you never sign in, nothing at all is sent, and the whole game still works.
If you do sign in with your Play Games account, then at the end of each run your score for that mode is sent to Google, so it can be placed in the leaderboard. Google links it to your Play Games player account, and your Play Games name and picture — the ones you chose in the Play Games app, not your real name unless you made them the same — become visible to other players in the list. We do not receive that list, we do not build one of our own, and we never see your email address.
How Google handles this is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can hide your profile, or delete your Play Games data for this game, from the Play Games app itself, under Settings.
Cook's Hook shows ads through Google AdMob. To choose and measure the ads you see, Google may collect and use your device's advertising identifier, your IP address, general information about your device, and basic information about how you use the app. We never see this data ourselves — it goes to Google, not to us. How Google uses it is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked before personalised ads are shown, and you may refuse. You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Ad privacy inside the game. Refusing does not take anything away from the game: you still get ads, just ones that are not based on your data. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier from your phone's own settings, under Google → Ads.
Apart from the advertising described above, the game contains no analytics tools and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about how you play is sent to us.
The game is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Ad settings are configured accordingly.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it saved on your device. You can also erase your progress at any time from Settings → Reset Progress.
If a future version starts collecting anything more, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the change will be described here.

Pe scurt. Jocul în sine nu colectează nimic despre tine. Are reclame, iar serviciul de publicitate din spatele lor colectează date despre dispozitiv ca să le poată afişa. Dacă — şi numai dacă — alegi să foloseşti clasamentul, scorul tău pleacă la Google Play Games. Nimic altceva nu pleacă de pe telefonul tău.
Jocul îţi salvează progresul — recordurile, monedele, cârligele şi abilităţile deblocate — şi setările, adică volumul, vibraţiile, limba şi modul de zi. Toate stau doar pe telefonul tău, în spaţiul local obişnuit al Android. Nimic din ele nu pleacă de acolo şi noi nu le putem vedea.
Nu ai nevoie de niciun cont ca să joci. Nu îţi cerem numele, adresa de e-mail, numărul de telefon sau locaţia. Singura autentificare din joc e cea de mai jos, de la clasamente, şi e la alegerea ta.
Jocul are clasamente mondiale, ţinute de Google Play Games Services. Sunt opţionale: dacă nu intri niciodată în cont, nu pleacă absolut nimic, iar jocul merge întocmai.
Dacă intri cu contul tău Play Games, atunci, la sfârşitul fiecărei ture, scorul tău pentru modul acela pleacă la Google, ca să fie aşezat în clasament. Google îl leagă de contul tău de jucător Play Games, iar numele şi poza ta din Play Games — cele alese de tine în aplicaţia Play Games, nu numele tău adevărat, decât dacă le-ai făcut la fel — devin vizibile celorlalţi jucători din listă. Noi nu primim lista aceea, nu ne facem una a noastră şi nu îţi vedem niciodată adresa de e-mail.
Ce face Google cu ele e descris în Politica de confidenţialitate Google. Îţi poţi ascunde profilul sau îţi poţi şterge datele Play Games pentru acest joc chiar din aplicaţia Play Games, de la Setări.
Cook's Hook afişează reclame prin Google AdMob. Ca să aleagă şi să măsoare reclamele pe care le vezi, Google poate colecta şi folosi identificatorul de publicitate al dispozitivului tău, adresa IP, informaţii generale despre telefon şi informaţii de bază despre felul în care foloseşti aplicaţia. Noi nu vedem niciodată aceste date — ele ajung la Google, nu la noi. Ce face Google cu ele e descris la policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Dacă eşti în Spaţiul Economic European, Regatul Unit sau Elveţia, eşti întrebat înainte să ţi se arate reclame personalizate şi poţi refuza. Îţi poţi schimba răspunsul oricând, din Setări → Confidenţialitate, în joc. Refuzul nu îţi ia nimic din joc: primeşti tot reclame, doar că nu sunt alese pe baza datelor tale. Poţi de asemenea să ştergi sau să reiniţializezi identificatorul de publicitate din setările telefonului, la Google → Anunţuri.
În afară de publicitatea descrisă mai sus, jocul nu conţine unelte de analiză şi nu te urmăreşte în niciun fel. Nimic despre felul în care joci nu ajunge la noi.
Jocul nu se adresează copiilor şi nu colectăm cu bună ştiinţă nimic de la ei. Setările de publicitate sunt făcute în consecinţă.
Dezinstalarea aplicaţiei şterge tot ce a salvat pe telefonul tău. Poţi şterge progresul şi din joc, oricând, din Setări → Şterge progresul.
Dacă o versiune viitoare începe să colecteze ceva în plus, politica asta va fi actualizată înainte de publicarea acelei versiuni, iar schimbarea va fi descrisă aici.
